I have been a colleague of Ivan's at RBC Insurance for over a decade. Though I did not know him well, he struck me as a person with whom I could have an energetic friendship. He was kind, approachable and meticulous, and I am so sorry for this tragic loss. My deepest condolences to Ivan's family and community.

To hear of the untimely and sudden passing of Dr. Kiss brought sadness; however, upon refection of and remembering our interactions at RBCI, made me feel honoured to have had the opportunity to work with him and become an aquaintance.
My remembrances of him are as follows:
1. He took the time not only to listen but also make constructive recommendations as how to resolve the work-related matters necessary to make informed decisions about the clients' conditions.
2. He was jovial. His sense of humor I got and his friendly disposition, when I consuled with him, always made me feel welcomed.
3. He was a professional. Our interactions were not , in anyway, threatening and or belittling, when I requested information and or clarification about an opinion. They were teaching and educational moments and
4. He never failed to greet me, in the hallway, when we ran into each other.
The organization has lost a brilliant, professional and compassionate person who was the embodiment of what we all should strive to be no matter our stations in life.
To his family, friends and colleagues this is a difficult time for you but when the going gets rough just think of the unforgettable moments and memories you made with him and know that he will always be with you watching and caring for you. He is now one of your angels.
God bless you all
Regards,
Deltoy

Dr. Kiss has been a friend and colleague for over 25 years in the industry. He was one of the kindest most genuine man I've had the privilege of knowing. He was a very highly regarded member of his field yet always welcomed questions from everyone and none were too simple for him to take time to share from his vast reservoirs of knowledge. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences and know I'm thinking of you all and sending you my deepest sympathies. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of great time of loss. Ivan is gone but will never be forgotten.

I knew Dr. Kiss as a work colleague at RBC. He was so approachable and always had a minute to answer a question and share his knowledge. I am truly saddened by his passing. While all the kind words about Dr. Kiss will not soften the pain the family is feeling at this moment, I hope that time is kind to them and soften that pain with fond and loving memories. My sincere condolences to the entire family

A very kind human being has left this world. We will feel this loss, but no more than Kelley. Our sympathy and love goes to our sister and family. We were fortunate to have Ivan at our family Christmas occasions and I know my husband, Sean, and I, as well as our grown children, enjoyed his presence as well as his engaging and enjoyable talks. We love the outdoors and staying fit, so it gave us a common interest to chat about. Ivan lived life to the fullest and truly enjoyed living here, in our beautiful county. We will surely miss you, Ivan.

I didn't know Ivan a long time, only as long as he was a part of Kelley's life. I did learn that he was a kind, caring wonderful person. Ivan loved to cook, knew his wines and adored my sister. I was there in the summer and he was so proud to show off and talk about the things he grew in his garden. Kelley and Ivan shared many adventures in the time they had. They had a common love of running, swimming, riding and paddleboards. They travel to, what I would call, exotic to do all the things they loved to do. My son said he was just getting to know Ivan and form a bond.
The photo I came across shows Ivan's humorous side. It's usually the kids trying to ride Rudolph!
Ivan will be missed by all of us. I wish we could all be with Kelley, her kids and Ivan's kids during this heartbreaking time.

My condolences to all who loved and enjoyed Ivan in their lives, especially to Kathy, Kelley, Andrew and Laura. . I had the pleasure and honour when he was in his 20's and 30's. One of my fondest memories was fishing with him and his father ( Dr. Andrew Kiss). You will notice Ivan smiling and pointing at Andrew. What you can't see is Andrews fishing line was wrapped around his head because he had a habit of putzing ( multi tasking) when he shouldn't. The three of us had a great time laughing, joking, telling stories, talking about music, food, wine, politics etc. Thank you Ivan, you are thought of often.

Ivan will be sadly missed by our local triathlon community in Norfolk County. He was a great friend, runner, cyclist, swimmer, and president of the North Shore Athletics club. His medical background, and good common sense assisted in leading our club through these trying times. We shared many exciting adventures together, including the annual Port Dover Polar Bear Dip on New Year's Day; Muskoka Half Ironman; swimming lessons; long run training sessions; Around the Bay Road Race; and a few half marathons. His obituary tells of a life well lived and a man well loved.

Deep and most sincere condolences Kelley, Andrew, Laura and family.
We met Ivan not long after we moved to Canada when our sons played soccer together.
On the soccer field our boys became lifelong friends and on the sidelines whilst cheering them on we made friends with Ivan. He laughed easily and was as gracious as he was intelligent.
A Burns' poem for Ivan:
An honest man here lies at rest,
As e’er God with His image blest:
The friend of man, the friend of truth;
The friend of age, and guide of youth:
Few hearts like his, with virtue warm’d,
Few heads with knowledge so inform’d:
If there’s another world, he lives in bliss;
If there is none, he made the best of this.

Ivan my friend you will be missed. A lot of really good memories in only a relatively short few years from discussing politics and really good alcohol to triathlon training and open water swimming. I often introduced you as Dr Kiss the crazy Hungarian as we shared a mutual love for a bit of sarcasm and a teasing sense of humour. I knew you as a caring and selfless individual. I’ll treasure our times together.
