Geraldine and I went to the prom together back in high school. She was always such a fun, upbeat, positive person. Definitely as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. My condolences to her Mom, Pam and family, and her husband and son.

Geraldine was one of the first neighbourhood kids to befriend me when I moved to Port Dover as a seven year old. Many memories of my childhood include her. Hiding things under rocks on the beach, manhunt, playing detective and dreaming up scenarios in our minds or pretending we were a band singing the likes of Billy Don’t Ne a Hero. Years later, she tried to get me to sing karaoke and even set me up on a date once. Over the last years, we shared only Facebook memories and chats and it was clear that Sam was the light of her life and I think she looked for all positive in her life so she could remain a guiding light for him. Her kindness and sweet heart was evident in everything she did or posted. She loved her family and friends in a way that left no doubt it was eternal; then and now in the afterlife. She is with us all and will never be forgotten. My heart breaks for Hector and Sam, Joyce and Pam and her girls and for all who were touched by her during her too short life. May we all try to emulate the love she spread and do it in her honour.
