Obituary of Geraldine MacDonald

MacDonald, Geraldine Diane (nee Cullen) passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Monday, March 28, 2022 in her 53rd year, surrounded by the love of her family. Geraldine was a devoted wife to Hector, yet the greatest love of her life was her son Samuel. She will be forever missed by her mother Joyce Cullen, her sister Pam (Andrew) Schneider and mother-in-law Joan MacDonald. Geraldine was the biggest cheerleader of her nieces Kylie, Alexis, Abby Schneider, Beth Cullen and nephew Jason Cullen. She will be lovingly remembered by her stepchildren and large extended family.  Predeceased by her dad Bill, brother Tom, twin sister Irene and father-in-law Bill.Geraldine privately battled autoimmune disease for most of her life and bravely fought it with a smile on her face. Anyone who knew her was blessed by her kindness and generosity. She was always happy to come to the rescue of those in need, animal or human. Friends are invited to share their memories of Geraldine on Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover519-583-1530. A Funeral Service to honour Geraldine's life will be held Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:30am at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Lynn Park Rd. Port Dover. Father Augustine Ogundele officiating.
